Adelaide Cemeteries Authority has not granted permission for photos to be available via this website.
Adelaide Cemeteries Authority advised the following in writing on 11th August 2009 -
"I advise that any future photography you wish to undertake at any of the Authority's cemetereis must comply with our Filming and Photography Policy - in particular filming and photography must be restricted to general scenes only and not directed on individual memorials so as to identify the inscription.
We adopt this approach as previous experience with photography and or filming depicting family names has drawn critism from family members of the deceased. However, we will not restrict the listing of names of indivduals on your website.
I am unable to approve publication to your website and sale of photographs to any person or organisation of individual headstones. The monuments are owned by the families of the deceased and the Authority has no right to provide such approval."
